HEMP FAQ

What is Hemp Oil?

Cannabidiol are naturally occurring fatty compounds found in the stalks, leaves & flowers of cannabis Sativa plants. Hemp oils extracted from legal grown hemp plants is the non-intoxicating cannabinoid (containing less than 0.3 percent THC) that we use to produce all of our GRN hemp products. The study of the positive benefits and potential side effects of Cannabinoids is extensive and ongoing. Always consult your doctor or health professional before adding hemp to your health and wellness routine.

Is Hemp Legal? Do I need a medical cannabis or marijuana card to purchase?

Yes, hemp is legal in all 50 states. GRN hemp products contain only legal hemp, which can be legally purchased anywhere in the U.S.A without a doctor’s prescription or medical cannabis card. Nevertheless, we recommend you consult your doctor or health professional, as well as to check your local laws to confirm that hemp is legal in your region.

Will Hemp Extract show up on a drug test?

While GRN Hemp products are manufactured from legal grown hemp plants containing less than 0.3% THC, there are still trace amounts of THC. As a result, there is no guarantee regular hemp users, despite not experiencing any intoxicating effects, won’t test positive for a drug test for THC. We recommend that you consult a doctor or employer if potential drug testing is a concern.

Will Hemp Extract get me high?

A common question for first time hemp oil buyers ask is whether or not you can get high on hemp.  The straight forward answer is NO. Hemp is a non-psychoactive cannabis compound, and it does not cause any of the mind-altering "stoned" feelings like its cannabis sibling THC. You can rest assured that GRN hemp is non-intoxicating.

How long until you feel the effects of Hemp Oil?

To be clear, there is no “high” associated with the consumption of pure hemp. Effects of hemp oil will differ for every person depending on the level, quality and amount of hemp taken, as well as individual weight and overall body mass. We recommend that you begin with a reputable, third-party lab tested brand like GRN Hemp and start with smaller doses of hemp oil and then gradually increase overtime until you reach your desired results.

How much Hemp Oil is right for me?

Because each individual’s metabolism and body structure is unique, there is not a predetermined dose that can be clearly predicted for everyone. It is recommended to consult a doctor or health professional to determine an adequate amount for your body and lifestyle, and then gradually adjust as needed to reach your desired relief.

What’s the difference between Marijuana Plants & Hemp Plants?

While they hail from the same plant family, marijuana and hemp develop contrasting levels of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – the illegal, psychotropic cannabinoid. Both are classified as cannabis sativa plants, but in accord with the Agricultural Act of 2014, legal hemp plants that we use to produce GRN HEMP contain less than 0.3 percent THC.

What is (are) Cannabinoid(s)?

Cannabinoids are the natural molecular composites found in Cannabis sativa plants as well as many other plant species including Coneflower (Echinacea). Cannabinoids are also naturally produced inside our bodies and work in conjunction with our immune and central nervous system. Categorized as fatty compounds, the study of the positive benefits of Cannabinoids is extensive and ongoing.
